Description and time-table of the activity

During the last decade the problem of abandoned children has increased. In an attempt to solve the problem, the ministry of social and cultural affairs has implemented establishment of institutions or homes to accommodate the children and also trying to find alternative families. Mrs. Saud Abd Alaal El Tahir will let us know more about the problem and how it is tackeled by authorities.

One of the main objectives of BTA is to work with children in general and the project "Abandoned children in Sudan-How can we help?" is specifically directed towards helping orphaned children. The situation of the children and the plans for how BTA can help will be presented and discussed by Dr Adila Elobeid.
